Fathers
To all the men, especially those who are fathers and those who are about to become fathers, please bear in mind that the almighty God expects much of you when it comes to training up your children in the ways and the knowledge of God. May God be able to say to all the fathers who are men in Christ, what He said to Abraham in Gen.18:17-19. I pray He will be able to say this about me, if I ever have children.

Gen.18:17-19
17 And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do; 18 Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? 19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.

Col.3:19-21
19 Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them. 20 Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord. 21 Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.

To the fathers who aren't there for your children, do you know that you are provoking them to anger when they need you and want you and you're not there for them, to protect, lead, guide, and instruct them. Do you have any idea the pain and hurt they have as they mature in age; the anger they feel for not having a father there for them. Fathers do love your children and do the best for them in the faith and strength of our Lord Jesus Christ, may these images light a fire in your heart to have a relationship with your children, as they so wonderfully display. If it isn't a reality in your relationship with them right now, do something about it.
