Types & Shadows

I’m writing this for one main reason and it’s for us to truly understand, that everything in the Old Testament was a Type and Shadow of the full revelation to be revealed in the New Testament. This is why the Apostle Paul was graced to give us the Book of Hebrews, for it is a book of (Better Things) showing how the New Testament, incorporated by the Lord Jesus, is better than everything that ever was before it.

I have written extensively on King David and King Solomon in my 1st & 2nd books, because they are so vital to God and His relationship to the Lord Jesus Christ. I write in my books about the Abrahamic Covenant & the Davidic Covenant and the latter being an extension of the first covenant. The reason being is, this is so relevant in the mystery of purpose between God the Father and His son the Lord Jesus Christ, this revelation takes my breath away.

For those who don’t read the scriptures or those who only read the N.T. I’m going to put the entire I Chron. 29th chapter here to be read.

Furthermore David the king said unto all the congregation, Solomon my son, whom alone God hath chosen, is yet young and tender, and the work is great: for the palace is not for man, but for the LORD God.

Now I have prepared with all my might for the house of my God the gold for things to be made of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and the brass for things of brass, the iron for things of iron, and wood for things of wood; onyx stones, and stones to be set, glistering stones, and of divers colours, and all manner of precious stones, and marble stones in abundance.

Moreover, because I have set my affection to the house of my God, I have of mine own proper good, of gold and silver, which I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house,

Even three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, and seven thousand talents of refined silver, to overlay the walls of the houses withal:

The gold for things of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and for all manner of work to be made by the hands of artificers. And who then is willing to consecrate his service this day unto the LORD?

Then the chief of the fathers and princes of the tribes of Israel, and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, with the rulers of the king's work, offered willingly,

And gave for the service of the house of God of gold five thousand talents and ten thousand drams, and of silver ten thousand talents, and of brass eighteen thousand talents, and one hundred thousand talents of iron.

And they with whom precious stones were found gave them to the treasure of the house of the LORD, by the hand of Jehiel the Gershonite.

Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to the LORD: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy.

10 Wherefore David blessed the LORD before all the congregation: and David said, Blessed be thou, LORD God of Israel our father, for ever and ever.

11 Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.

12 Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.

13 Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.

14 But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.

15 For we are strangers before thee, and sojourners, as were all our fathers: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding.

16 O LORD our God, all this store that we have prepared to build thee an house for thine holy name cometh of thine hand, and is all thine own.

17 I know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto thee.

18 O LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this for ever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of thy people, and prepare their heart unto thee:

19 And give unto Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep thy commandments, thy testimonies, and thy statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace, for the which I have made provision.

20 And David said to all the congregation, Now bless the LORD your God. And all the congregation blessed the LORD God of their fathers, and bowed down their heads, and worshipped the LORD, and the king.

21 And they sacrificed sacrifices unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings unto the LORD, on the morrow after that day, even a thousand bullocks, a thousand rams, and a thousand lambs, with their drink offerings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel:

22 And did eat and drink before the LORD on that day with great gladness. And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and anointed him unto the LORD to be the chief governor, and Zadok to be priest.

23 Then Solomon sat on the throne of the LORD as king instead of David his father, and prospered; and all Israel obeyed him.

24 And all the princes, and the mighty men, and all the sons likewise of king David, submitted themselves unto Solomon the king.

25 And the LORD magnified Solomon exceedingly in the sight of all Israel, and bestowed upon him such royal majesty as had not been on any king before him in Israel.

26 Thus David the son of Jesse reigned over all Israel.

27 And the time that he reigned over Israel was forty years; seven years reigned he in Hebron, and thirty and three years reigned he in Jerusalem.

28 And he died in a good old age, full of days, riches, and honour: and Solomon his son reigned in his stead.

29 Now the acts of David the king, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of Samuel the seer, and in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the book of Gad the seer,

30 With all his reign and his might, and the times that went over him, and over Israel, and over all the kingdoms of the countries.

Now normally I would go into great detail and break this down according to divine revelation, however I will let you do it, seeking the Lord Jesus. Nevertheless, I want to point out some very relevant things; asking you to take notice of the heavenly Father and His son in these comparisons. If you read this chapter, you can find many comparisons in which the Lord speaks of the Father and Himself in their relationship, as found in the 4 Gospels.

Everything in this chapter is a about a beautiful relationship between a father and son and how that father made sure the son would have everything he needed, to build a temple/house unto God and how all would be made subject to Him. There is much, much more in there than what I just wrote.

   Lastly I will leave you with how profound God’s relationship with King David was and what he meant to God. Rev. 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. Also Rev. 3:7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;

My question is do we ever ask God why, in the last testament of the canon scriptures, as the Lord Jesus and heavenly beings were speaking to the Apostle John: why the Lord Jesus would speak of being King David’s (Root & Offspring) and why would the Lord Jesus, who is the King of Kings, has a (Key of David)? What does that mean and what is the (Key)?

Your task should you desire to know God beyond TV preachers and only opening your bibles on Sunday, do study all the scriptures here and get the (Revelation) of this divine connection, between two heavenly kings (God & the Lord Jesus) and two earthly kings, (King David and Solomon). May those who hunger and thirst for God, eat and drink the revelations and mysteries concerning this (Type and Shadow).

Supplemental Teaching

(4 Reasons God Established a Covenant With Abraham)

It was necessary after doing this page on Types and Shadows, to add this most relevant teaching to supplement what is being taught here and to give more revelation and insight on God's bond, to Abraham and David.

(1). God establishing a covenant with Abraham, had to do with Abraham's love, fellowship, and relationship with God. Not only that, but Abraham was a man of great faith in God. God himself said Abraham was His friend, "imagine that." Based on this relationship with God, He ordained that the seed of the woman in Gen.3:15 would come through his lineage. For God declared to him it would be in Isaac, his seed would be called. Understand, it is in Isaac's seed in which God recognizes Abraham's seed and lineage; this is very, very, important to understand. For it was in Jacob and not Esau, to be the bearer of Abraham's seed for Christ.
(
2). The second reason for this covenant, was to bring forth the tribe of Judah from Jacob's line. To be the tribe from which the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the seed of the woman to come forth. This was necessary to get to king David, who was a messianic king. For the Lord Jesus is the son of David.
(
3). The third reason was to established the Davidic covenant with king David; as the extension of the Abrahamic covenant. Whereby the Lord Jesus had a rightful rule to be a king from the lineage of Abraham, through David's lineage. So the 3rd reason is the necessity of king David; as you can see above in the (Types and Shadows). David's tribe was to be the tribe of the Messiah. This covenant ensured that God would establish David's throne forever, how could that be without our King of Kings and Lord of Lords!
(
4). The fourth reason and I will go more into it a tad, was to fulfill all of the promises to Abraham, concerning him having a lineage which will fulfill Isa. 60th chap and all of the promises concerning his seed; which are all prophetical promises. These promises are In the books of the Old Testament prophets and the books of Moses. Which speaks of a remnant of Israel, of which God would have out of Abraham's seed. They will be those who will live and serve in the faith of Abraham, which is the faith of Christ, before He appeared naturally. This remnant will live in the full faith of God and His Christ, which will fulfill the promises of the old covenant, as they make up the new Mt. Zion and the New Jerusalem promises. For they are the first-fruits of the Lord Jesus Christ on the earth and they are known as the 144,000.

Now concerning all of this I'm sharing; God had a hidden agenda. It was hidden from his holy angels in heaven and also from Satan and his fallen angels; as well as hidden from most of mankind. This agenda was to give to His firstborn son, the Lord Jesus Christ the manifestation of two births. The first birth was through a natural coming, through Abraham's lineage in Mary's womb and the second is to be through the first-fruits on earth of His resurrection, who come from Abraham's lineage, which makeup the 144,000 from the 12 Tribes of Israel. This birthing of Christ in a people is seen in Rev.12th chapter, for the man-child is the second birthing of Christ through a people, as a fully grown spiritual adult in the nature, name, and character of the Lord Christ. The validly of this truth can be found by a statement from the apostle Paul, paraphrase, I travail with you in birth, until Christ be formed in you.

Please read (The Mission) on this site and (The 4 Comings) and you will get a better picture of Christ being birth as a mature man-child through the 144,000. For you will see as you study the 144,000, they are just like Him in everyway, yet not above Him. When He shall appear we will be like Him, remember that scripture? I will leave it at that for now. I hope this will be a blessing to you, (as you study to show yourself approve, a workman unto God, rightly dividing the word of truth)!

*I will also like to add and this will cause many people to be upset with me and call me anti-Semitic. However, there is a great deception on who Abraham's current day seed is, as in who are his true descendants now in this day and age. I could not be one of God's last day messengers and not address this subject; being I speak on the 144K who make up the current day 12 Tribes of Israel. Do know that they are not the current occupants in modern day Israel. I want to also say to pastor John Hagee, as well as getting this (Rapture) teaching wrong, as I mentioned in (The Mission) you're backing the wrong horse on the current day seed of Abraham: you have also possibly given over $50 million dollars over the many years now, to the wrong people. My objective is to make sure I preach and teach the truth, so people won't be deceived. Nevertheless, my main concern is that I am not deceived. As the Lord Jesus said, "take heed that no man deceive you" The word (you) is personal.
